Reverend TL Parker’s life is shaped by a powerful generational story that spans continents and cultures. Her grandparents were born in Paris, France, later moving to Jamaica, where the family embraced rich traditions of music, spirituality, and community. From Jamaica, the family relocated to Union Springs, Alabama—where Reverend TL Parker was born on October 19, 1955, carrying forward a legacy of strength and purpose.
From the age of five, Reverend Parker displayed remarkable talent—singing effortlessly, dancing with natural rhythm, and memorizing every voice she heard on the radio. At nine years old, she joined the church choir led by her father, Reverend Tommy Lee Parker of the Church of God in Christ, marking the beginning of a lifelong calling. Music and ministry are not just her passion—they are her inheritance. Licensed as a pastor at 23, Reverend Parker blends gospel, soul, and deep spiritual conviction with influences ranging from Aretha Franklin, CeCe Winans, and Shirley Caesar to Linda Jones, Al Green, and Sade. On stage and in worship, she delivers her gift with power, compassion, and authenticity.
Reverend Parker is also the proud mother of Upstate New York R&B and hip-hop legend Emmey Gramz, further extending the family’s artistic legacy into a new generation of creative excellence.
Beyond her music, she is a passionate advocate for children—especially youth in Africa, whom she uplifts daily on social media. She believes children are our future and devotes her platform to spreading love, support, and inspiration. A true vessel of God, Reverend TL Parker’s mission is rooted in peace, compassion, kindness, and spiritual upliftment. Her voice, her heart, and her life’s work continue to inspire audiences around the world.
