Locks | Short Film | Ryan Coogler

Made before Black Panther and Creed, Ryan Coogler’s LOCKS is an early short film created during his time at USC Film School. Set in Oakland, the story follows a young man burdened by emotion as he makes his way through the neighborhood to a local barbershop. The film also marks the first collaboration between Coogler and composer Ludwig Göransson.
